My Lovely Dog

TIGER The dog who taught us what unconditional love truly means. 2022 — 29 May 2026 Personal  ·  Tribute  ·  By Sakthi  ·  29 May 2026 There are some souls that walk into your life quietly, with four paws and a wagging tail, and before you even realise it — they have become your whole world. Tiger was that soul for us. A white Indie dog with the most expressive brown eyes, the goofiest tongue-out smile, and a heart so full of love it spilled out into every corner of our home. I am writing this not as a review, not as a story — but as a goodbye that I never got to say properly. Tiger left us on 29 May 2026. And by cruel, heartbreaking coincidence, that was also my birthday. A day that will now carry both joy and grief, woven together, forever. Where It All Began It was September 2022 when Tiger came home. A tiny, fluffy white puppy with huge ears that seemed too big for his little face, and eyes that already held a kind of ancient ...

Shutter Island

1994 Film Review Shutter Island Martin Scorsese 2010 Leonardo DiCaprio Psychological Thriller Genre Psychological Thriller My Rating 4.5 / 5 Verdict Haunts You Long After I watched Shutter Island alone. Late at night. And I already had a feeling — something about the way this film was being set up told me the twist was coming. I could feel it building under every scene. I was watching for it, waiting for it. And when it finally came — even though I saw it — I went completely silent. That's how good this film is. It got me even when I was ready. Martin Scorsese built something genuinely unsettling here. Not horror-movie unsettling. The deeper kind — the kind that makes you question what's real and what isn't, not just on screen but somewh...

Attack on Titan — The Greatest Story Ever Told

AOT Anime Review Attack on Titan Hajime Isayama 2013 — 2023 4 Seasons Wit Studio · MAPPA Genre Dark Fantasy · Action My Rating 5 / 5 — No debate Verdict Greatest Story Ever Told I found Attack on Titan completely on my own. Nobody recommended it. Nobody pushed it at me. I just stumbled into it one random day, hit play on episode one — and that was it. I didn't move. I forgot to eat. I forgot to sleep. By the time I finished I was just sitting there in complete silence wondering what this show had just done to me. I'm not exaggerating when I say this — Attack on Titan is not just an anime. It is an experience. The kind that grabs you, shakes you, and leaves a mark that doesn't go away. I still think about it. Probably always will. T...

Limitless (2011) Review — What If You Could Use 100% of Your Brain?

Limitless (2011) Review — What If You Could Use 100% of Your Brain? | Reel & Read Reel & Read Movie Review  ·  Thriller  ·  2011 What If You Could Use 100% of Your Brain? Limitless (2011) — Directed by Neil Burger ★★★★★★★★★☆ 9 / 10 📽 Bradley Cooper 🎬 Neil Burger ⏱ 105 mins 🗓 2011 Genre Sci-fi Thriller Starring Bradley Cooper, Robert De Niro Based on The Dark Fields (novel) My Rating 9 / 10 ⭐ Honestly, I wouldn't have watched this film if it wasn't for a random reel I stumbled across. You know those reels that just stop your scroll dead? That was this one. I didn't even know what movie it was at first — I just knew I had to find it and watch it. Best decision I made that day. Limitless is a 2011 sci-fi thriller directed by Neil Burger, and it asks a question that honestly kept me thinking long after t...

The Martian — One Man. One Planet. One Potato at a Time.

MARS Film Review The Martian Ridley Scott 2015 Matt Damon Sci-Fi · Survival Genre Sci-Fi · Survival My Rating 4 / 5 Verdict Feel Good & Amazed I didn't find The Martian on my own. My cousins and I sat down together one day, picked this film, and watched it as a group. I had no idea what it was about going in. None of us did really. And somewhere between Mark Watney being left for dead on Mars and him figuring out how to grow food in the middle of nothing — all of us were completely hooked. That's the kind of film this is. It pulls everyone in the room together. The Martian is not a dark film. It's not trying to scare you or break your heart. It's something rarer — a film that makes you genuinely happy while also making you sit th...

Interstellar

∞ Film Review Inter stellar Christopher Nolan 2014 Matthew McConaughey Sci-Fi · Drama Genre Sci-Fi · Drama My Rating 5 / 5 — Watched 5 Times Verdict Perfect In Every Angle My brother recommended Interstellar to me. Just like that — casually, like he was telling me about any other film. He had no idea what he was about to do to me. I sat down to watch it and from the moment Cooper drives through that cornfield chasing a drone with his daughter — I was gone. Completely gone. And I have watched it five times since. Every single time it silences me completely. I don't say this lightly — Interstellar is perfect in every angle. The story. The science. The emotion. The music. Every single piece of it fits together so precisely that watching it feels le...
